This article shows studies on the determination of chlorophyll content in cereal and legume mixtures, as well as the content of agrochemical soil parameters (humus, NPK).The data of the field site of the study in the conditions of the Kostanay region, where the experience was laid down in the Agricultural Experimental Station "Zarechnoye" LLP, are presented in detail. It also describes the methodology of conducting field research, meteorological data on precipitation and air temperature for 2023 and 2024 years of study of the study. The climate in the study region is sharply continental, characterized by cold winters and warm, hot summers. In the course of the work, agrochemical soil sampling was carried out for laboratory soil analysis to determine the content of humus and NPK. The study used the N-tester SPAD 502 plus Chlorophyll Meter device, which determines the chlorophyll content in plants using an express method in the field, which makes it possible to determine the nitrogen requirements of cereal and legume mixtures. According to the research data obtained during the work, it can be concluded that in order to improve the state of soil indicators, it is necessary to select cereal and legume grass mixtures that are more valuable in terms of nutritional value and adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region.
