SELECTION AND BREEDING WORK WITH THE KALMYK BREED CATTLE IN NORTHERN KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

The article presents in detail the research material on Kalmyk cattle bred in the territory of Northern Kazakhstan. The evaluation of steers of different genotypes by their productivity is presented. The paper concludes that it is most important to use the method of purebred breeding of Kalmyk cattle, which will ensure and create conditions for the further dynamic development of cattle breeding in the Republic of Kazakhstan
