PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF CULTURAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES OF THE YOUTH OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

The aggravation of  the problem of friendship for many groups of young people is associated primarily with the failure of many educational institutions of our society, including schools and families, in the sphere of socialization and social adaptation of the individual. At the same time, it is a space of cultural leisure, acting as a powerful socializing factor for all members of society in transition. In 2022 the sociological research on "Social attitudes of NEET youth in Kazakhstan" was conducted as per the order of the Ministry of Information and Development. The results of the research conducted by modern Kazakhstani youth pay a lot of attention to the issues of cultural recreation. However many historically formed ideals and values today are on the verge of collapse, the lack of new reference points for cultural level of the youth is felt. Therefore, it is necessary to observe and analyze the state of interests and values of the youth. Particular attention is given to the sphere of leisure, including suitable activities, interests in literature, movies, TV series, and access to information platforms (primarily social messengers). Additionally, leisure time should be guided by sound pedagogical principles. How young people spend their free time serves as an indicator of their cultural level and reflects the scope of both their individual and social group's spiritual interests.
