The rapid changes in society require master’s students of the pedagogy and psychology educational program to be able to adapt to unforeseen situations and make effective decisions in advance. Therefore, developing their predictive competence becomes one of the priorities in the field of education. The relevance of this study lies in the need to equip master's students with these skills and ensure their professional adaptation. The main goal of the study is to define the theoretical and methodological foundations for the development of predictive competence among master’s students. The objectives of the research include a comparative analysis of domestic and international scientific studies and an evaluation of their applied effectiveness. Throughout the study, conceptual frameworks related to predictive competence were used as the main material. The methodological basis included a literature review, the use of project-based learning technologies, and the diagnostics of experimental work results. From a theoretical perspective, the study offers a methodological direction for expanding the concept of predictive competence. From a practical standpoint, it contributes to the improvement of master's training programs, refinement of educational content, and effective organization of learning processes.
