DIGITAL HISTORY: WAYS TO ENHANCE HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE WITH THE HELP OF STUDENTS' INTELLECTUAL PRODUCTS

Abstract

This article explores the causes of national nihilism among students and suggests possible solutions, making it a relevant topic in values-based education. The primary reason for the emergence of national nihilism among students is identified as the failure of historical knowledge and classroom instruction to connect with contemporary realities. The author draws on personal teaching experience to demonstrate how fostering students’ intellectual contributions can help counteract national nihilism.The main focus is on the development of digital resources such as historical comics, interactive platforms and open-source projects that contribute to the formation of historical consciousness and the preservation of national identity. The pedagogical approaches that allow students to be involved in the creation of intellectual products, stimulating their creative and analytical thinking, are analyzed. A special place is occupied by the discussion of digital history in the educational process, its impact on the motivation and interest of schoolchildren in studying national history. The article demonstrates the introduction of digital technologies into modern education as a means of combating national nihilism and the formation of a stable economic position among the younger generation.
