Abstract

The article examines the effectiveness of integrating design disciplines into the educational process of art education to form the professional competence of future teachers. Special attention is paid to various approaches and methods for integrating specialized disciplines from the design curriculum into educational programs, which contributes to the development of key professional competencies such as creative thinking, visual literacy, the ability to work with digital tools and project skills. The integration of design disciplines helps students not only master the theoretical foundations, but also acquire practical skills required for successful teaching in a rapidly developing technology environment. To achieve these goals, methods of analyzing educational programs, polling students and experts, as well as evaluating the results of experimental research were used. These methods allowed us to identify the degree of effectiveness of the integration of design disciplines and their impact on the development of professional skills of future teachers. In the course of the study, it was found that the integration of design disciplines significantly improves the quality of future teachers' training, their ability to adapt to modern educational requirements and develop a creative approach to teaching. The formation of the goals and content of the article was based on the analysis of educational programs, a survey of students, and the use of assessment methods to interpret the results obtained, enabling us to substantiate the importance of introducing design into pedagogical practice.
