This is especially relevant for the training of future educational psychologists, as both pedagogy and psychology are sciences focused on research and innovation. Today, educational psychologists must be capable of effectively utilizing new information technologies and digital tools in their professional activities. In this regard, the development of research competencies becomes a crucial task. The article emphasizes the importance of using digital tools in the training process of future educational psychologists and analyzes their impact on the development of research competencies. It thoroughly explores the effective use of digital educational platforms, virtual and augmented reality tools, and data analysis software in the educational process. The article is dedicated to examining the pedagogical and psychological aspects of the digitalization of the education system.
