TRADITIONAL TURKIC CONCEPTIONS OF HIGHER SPIRITUAL AND MORAL QUALITIES AND THEIR RELEVANCE IN THE 21ST CENTURY: A STUDY OF BASHKIR DIDACTIC KUBAIRS

In the context of growing globalization processes and the gradual loss of national traditions, increasing attention is being paid to a return to the roots – to the time-tested forms of upbringing preserved in the collective memory of the people. In this regard, Bashkir didactic kubairs represent a valuable source of spiritual and moral guidelines and can be seen as an effective tool in ethnopedagogy. Bashkir folklore contains edifications that reflect views on moral norms, ideals of behavior, and the spiritual culture of the people.
The research purpose is to identify the educational and axiological potential of didactic kubairs and justify their application in contemporary ethnopedagogy. The study objectives included analyzing the structure and content of kubairs, their typology, as well as identifying the key values transmitted through this genre.
The study employed semantic, structural-plot, and axiological analysis methods. The analysis showed that kubairs effectively serve the function of transmitting traditional moral values and socially significant guidelines. They act as a kind of "oral code of honor" or "life guidelines" expressed in poetic form.
The scientific value of this research lies in the rethinking of Bashkir kubairs as an important tool of folk pedagogy capable of performing functions of moral upbringing and education. The practical relevance of the paper is that the obtained results can be used in the creation of educational and ethnocultural programs, as well as in fostering a sense of national identity and respect for native traditions among the younger generation. The research contributes to the preservation and relevance of the spiritual heritage of the Bashkir people, opening new opportunities for the integration of folkloric forms into the modern educational environment.
