Abstract

The article examines in detail the social significance of the process of developing a student's speech. The author argues that in today's information society, a decline in language culture and weakening of speech skills significantly contribute to the formation of students' personalities and social activity. The study was conducted among 10th-grade students in the first half of the 2024-2025 academic year, using methods of pedagogical control, analysis of written and oral work, and interviews. The results demonstrate a close relationship between students' speech levels and their social activity, self-expression, and leadership qualities. The dialogic learning, discussion, project assignments, and reflective activities used in the experimental classroom improved not only the students' language skills, but also their communicative and emotional abilities. The author proves that the development of speech culture is not just a grammatical skill, but a crucial factor in social integration and the formation of one's own personality. The article also analyzes the importance of the teacher's role, the potential of effective pedagogical methods for developing speech skills, and the use of digital tools. Based on the results of the study, the development of word formation is viewed as a multifaceted pedagogical process that enhances critical thinking, confidence, and public speaking skills, ultimately making students active members of society.
