In the context of digital transformation of educational processes, the case method is becoming especially relevant as a tool for developing professional skills. The purpose of the study is to study the features of using the case method in the digital era to train future teachers. The article provides an overview of the main trends and challenges associated with the influence of the digital age on professional skills. New skill requirements driven by rapidly advancing technologies, particularly digitalization and the integration of artificial intelligence, are also examined. Selected practical methods and approaches show the possibilities and benefits of using the case method in developing professional skills in the digital age. The results of the presented study include recommendations and practical advice on using the case method and other innovative approaches to develop professional skills in the digital era. It also highlights key aspects to consider when preparing cases, conducting training, and evaluating effectiveness. Thus, the case method combined with digitalization is an effective teaching method that allows students to develop the analytical, critical, social and leadership skills required for successful professional activity.
