ANALYSIS OF THE MOTIVATION OF FUTURE TEACHERS TO STUDY AT A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The article presents the results of the analysis of the motivation of students of higher educational institutions to become a teacher. At the same time, the importance of motivation in the process of professional training of teachers is recognized and various factors affecting its formation are considered. The analysis of existing approaches to the study of motivation in the context of pedagogical training is carried out and highlights the main theoretical and practical aspects of this problem. The results of our own research based on a survey of students of a pedagogical university in order to find out their motivation to choose a profession are also presented. Along with this, the degree of satisfaction of students with their choice is determined. The results indicate the role of various factors, such as social support, the level of self-efficacy, value orientations and future career prospects, in the formation of motivation among future teachers. The authors offer a number of recommendations and practical solutions to create a favorable educational environment that promotes the development of motivation and successful training of students in pedagogical universities with further strengthening in the correctness of the choice of profession. The article is of great practical importance for the pedagogical community, as it contributes to understanding and improving the motivation of future teachers.
