The article substantiates the relevance of integrating the One Health concept into the content of school biology education as an effective direction for the formation of natural science literacy of gifted schoolchildren in the context of modern socio-environmental challenges. Special attention is paid to the specifics of the educational needs of gifted students, characterized by a high level of cognitive activity, developed systemic thinking and a propensity for research, which requires the use of in-depth and interdisciplinary educational approaches. The One Health concept, based on the interrelationship of human, animal and environmental health, is considered as a methodological basis for updating the content and technologies of biology education aimed at unlocking the intellectual and research potential of gifted schoolchildren. The aim of the study is to develop a model for the formation of natural science literacy of gifted schoolchildren in the process of teaching biology based on the One Health concept. The article defines the object and subject of the research, reveals the theoretical and methodological foundations of model design, including systemic, activity-based, competence-based and interdisciplinary approaches. A structural and functional model is presented that includes targeted, substantive, procedural, and evaluative components, as well as the pedagogical conditions for its effective implementation in working with gifted students. The development of the model is considered as a preparatory stage for its experimental implementation in educational practice, aimed at ensuring the scientific validity, reproducibility and validity of the subsequent pedagogical experiment. The materials of the article can be used in the professional activities of biology teachers, methodologists and researchers dealing with the problems of teaching gifted schoolchildren, natural science education and sustainable development.
